A Change Of Heart: When You Fall Out Of Love With The Dress Of Your Dreams

A common “dilemma” among newly engaged gals is “rushing” to find the gown of their dreams only to find out after deposit et al, that they’ve found something they like better.

According to experts, while getting an immediate start on LOOKING for a gown is important, it’s not as important to pick one out immediately, especially if you have up to a year or more until your big day.

Let’s face it; you took your time with finding your mate, so why rush “this”? Another point of perplexion: if you find the gown you “love” (and put money down on it), why keep looking. You wouldn’t continue looking for a more ideal “soul mate”, so why continue shopping around for a dress?

With that said, you can ease your mind knowing that if you change your mind (in time) the store just may accommodate you with an exchange. Otherwise, depending on what modifications you may want, you just may be able to have it altered to your liking, though it may be costly, and in the long run, more trouble than it’s worth. But, if you decide to modify just make sure to work with an experienced pro who know what he or she is doing and can have your gown ready on time, because you can’t undue what’s already done.
